Are there any key commands for navigating text in cherrytree? So far all I have found is Ctrl + arrow keys to move to the next word.

It would be nice if there were keyboard shortcuts for things like moving to the beginning/end of line, top/bottom of current window, ect.

I looked at the documentation but could not find any mention of keyboard commands for text navigation.

The only other ones I know of are:

    Home/End = move to beginning/end of line
    Ctrl+Home/End = move to top/bottom
    Ctrl+Left/Right = move by word
    Ctrl+Up/Down = move by paragraph
    PageUp/PageDown = move by screenful

Thanks for the info! You wouldn’t happen to know if there is a way to re-map them would you? (I do most of my work on a laptop without Home/End or PageUp/PageDown keys)

Sorry, those aren’t customizable in CT as far as I know. I think they’re more of a system-level thing.

Do you have them via Fn+<key> though? Some laptops use Fn + arrow keys for them (up/down for PgUp/Pgdn, and left/right for Home/End). You might try those even if they’re not marked. Or look up your model online and see if you can find the info on how to do them.

Ah, thanks, the fn key works perfectly! I don’t know why I’ve never heard of that before.
