I am looking at the option of adding some functionality to CherryTree to annotate text snippets and attach tags to these snippets.

I know that tags can be added at node level but my interest is adding tags to words and phrases in the inner text body to give finer granularity of content tagging.

    However .. I think I have found a bug.

When I select test snippet, say “hello world”, and give blue text background with white text foreground this is seen correctly in the CherryTree node. But if I now export the node as HTML and then re-import as HTML the foreground colour of “hello world” is lost in the <span syntax when I view HTML source. The background colour is as chosen.
