I have cherrytree documents where file path contains the norwegian characters ( øæ ø å Æ Ø Å ). If trying to open one of these documents using recent files menu – I got this error message:
The Document K:\Drifting\gma\divMøter\filename.ctd was Not Found

    Workaround:
Open the file manually using open file dialog box. This goes without errors.

    Not a workaround:
Avoiding using those characters in file or folder names is just not practical, that will have the same negative consequense as forbidding the use of letters e – a and s in english alphabet because so many words and names contains those letters.

OS: Windows 10 64 bit, norwegian
    CT version 0.38.3

    Thanks
