Why no more RPM? Please provide RPM.
RPM for what? Cherrytree is no more python but C++ which means a different build per distribution version
Thank you for this new release.
At the office, we use CherryTree a lot to share informations. We can no longer do without !
I think only one thing is missing : the possibility of having an exclusive access to the file (to avoid simultaneous file editions, for example when working into a shared folder). Many softwares easily do this with a simple .lock file which says somebody is using the file, maybe this could be implemented one day ?
Yes I think the file lock could be an useful addition in future, will try and add soon
Thank you 🥰
I love this program, but in Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon, I keep getting error messages that there is no secure key for the repository – and when I installed anyway, I got version 0.37.something, not the latest version 0.99.16. I’ve only spent a short while in Linux, and am desperate to get this working right as CherryTree is one of the basic, essential programs I use.
Cherrytree 0.99.x will be available for distributions older than Ubuntu 20.04 on flatpak (soon). For best experience you should upgrade to Mint 20.
Hey Giuspen,
It’s not on the changelog (AFAIK) but wanted to ask you if you don’t mind. Is there any change on the way CT handles the image resizing? I mean being possible to resize the ‘representation’ on the screen without affecting the source image itself.
Thank you.
Hi Joel, it’s been requested already but not available yet
I love it ..
cd github/cherrytree
git pull
code .
-B
… wait a few seconds, exit, basta 🙂
cherrytree 🙂
I have a strange issue on Windows with two monitors extend configuration.
File, Edit etc. tab menus in v.0.99 opens on second monitor, while main window is on primary monitor. Also effects on panel buttons hints and other popup windows & dialogs (for example, search dialog, branch settings).
