  1. Thanks for the update!
It’s true that CT doesn’t work with file names in Chinese.
.ctb file: It creates the file, but then says “file not found” when I try to reopen it.
Export tree to PDF: It creates a file with the right content, but the file name becomes a mix of random ASCII characters, instead of being Chinese.

  2. One day, we’ll have tabs and all will be right in the world.

Also in the best timeline, we have more customizable tables with ability to change colors of rows and columns.

I’m sure I sound ungrateful, but thank you for keeping on with Cherrytree, it’s the only program that fits my writing needs.

  3. Could you please add the ability to hide anchor icons without removing the anchors themselves but rather leaving them implicit. Those anchor icons are really annoying when there are too many anchors in a piece of text so an option to hide them would be really useful. Thanks for your efforts.

  4. On Windows 10 (1803 17134.376) Pro doesn’t work properly keyboard shortcuts. When pressed combinations like CTRL+C/CTRL+V it doesn’t copy anything to clipboard. If i perform these operations with mouse, it work properly.

  5. @Aleksandr: Perhaps I am just lucky, but Ctrl+c/Ctrl+v works fine for me on Windows 10 (10.0.15063 Build 15063)

  6. I’ve looked at Cherrytree many times over the past few years, with an eye to completely replacing OneNote, and I’m looking again now that Microsoft has deprecated OneNote 2016 for their very inferior desktop app. When CT can replicate my deep note organization for writing projects I’ll be 100% there.

  7. Thank you for your work for this program. I love it. I can use it in so many useful ways. Keep up the good work!
