  1. Ciao Gianluca,
    Yes I’m Italian 🙂
I remember I tried to reproduce the problem but without success, then I forgot to write the result to the ticket (sorry about that).
I’ll update the ticket asking you to share with me a config.cfg that breaks cherrytree.
    Saluti,
    Giuseppe.

  2. Hello Giuseppe,
First of all, let me Thank You for that great tool – it’s really amazing and I love it!
I would like to ask You if it is possible to also have the Chance to configure the colour of the Feature:

“added the configurable option to highlight the current line also for rich text nodes” ?

The highlithing is great with a dark Background and white text. But as I configured it the other way round, the black text is really hard to read with a dark blue highlighted current line.

    Best regards,
    Frank

  3. Hi Frank, if you use a light background for the rich text, to solve the problem of the dark current line selected, go to the preferences, tab “Plain Text and Code” and change the “Style Scheme” to “Classic” (or another white background scheme) then restart cherrytree and you’ll see the problem is fixed.
    Greetings,
    Giuseppe.

  4. bulleted lists symbols show coding error symbol for the 2nd and the last symbol (the empty square and the arrow with the double lines). Same thing happens to all
    „special chars auto-replaced: “==> ” becoming “⇒ “, “<== ” becoming “⇐ ” and “ ” becoming “⇔ ““

The option which highlights marked line is intresting, but not useable form . The marked line becomes dark blue in my case, while my text is black and thus the highlighted line becomes unreadable, because black text on dark blue background is hard to read. You should make it possible to change type of color for marked line.

  5. Hi Alexander, try to change the font because that looks like the problem with the missing characters. As for the dark selected line, as I just wrote in the previous answer, if you use a light background for the rich text, to solve the problem of the dark current line selected, go to the preferences, tab “Plain Text and Code” and change the “Style Scheme” to “Classic” (or another white background scheme) then restart cherrytree and you’ll see the problem is fixed

  6. I use Calibri Font and tried out multiple other Fonts (Arial, Verdana, etc.) and the Problem still exists. When i copy the coding error symbol, which should be an arrrow, into word, the arrow-symbol is shown correctly with Arial in Microsoft Word. Thus I do not think, that the font itself is the reason.
Changing the cherrytree language settings to “en” does not work either.

  7. Hi Giuseppe,

Thanks for creating CherryTree – this is really great tool!!

Would it be possible to add one feature request to your todo-list? I would love to have the possibility to import MS OneNote notebooks; it would allow me to import existing notes and ditch OneNote to use CherryTree on Linux and Windows.

The OneNote file format is described here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd924743(v=office.12).aspx

    Anyway, many thanks for CherryTree,

  8. Hello Hans,
I will add to the todo list but cannot promise about when I will find the necessary time for it.
    Greetings,
    Giuseppe.

  9. Hi Giuseppe, I second Hans’s request to have the possibility to import MS OneNote notebooks.
