There is a thread about it on bugzilla
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=666954
    I’ve found this too:

Hi, I was told cherrytree would be soon in fedora but probably they changed their mind since it was long time ago.
I will install fedora on a virtual machine and try to package cherrytree for it.
In a couple of days I’ll release 0.22.1, hope to be able to provide .rpm as well.
    Cheers.

I’m sorry but I spent some time trying to package for fedora without luck, if anybody can do it and will write here clearly how to do it I will create and add the package, otherwise I have no time for it.
    Cheers.

The rpm package has been made. Please read this: Bug 666954 – Review Request: cherrytree – Hierarchical note taking application
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=666954
It looks like someone is needed to keep an eye on it according to Fedora policy on packaging.
I’m not a programmer and it is hard for me to engage in it. I can only recommend others this program and ask Fedora packaging team to put it to repositories, which I did. :)
    Cheers.
