What is the maximum number of nodes (incl. subnodes, sub-subnodes, sub-sub-etc), or a maximum number of Mb/Gb, that 1 Cherrytree file can contain/be?

There’s no known known limit if not the limit of your PC. The node id is a long int with values between 1 and 2^31-1 = 2.147.483.647

Thanks giuspen. The more I use Cherrytree the more I like it. After ditching Evernote, I switched to OneNote 2 years ago. There are 1 or 2 things I like better in OneNote than in Cherrytree, e.g. tables & templates. But there are quite a few things for which I prefer Ct 🙂
