It would be extremely useful if CherryTree gave users the ability to relocate, remove and re-add buttons. That is because users like me have a small window visible in the corner at all times so we can access it frequently from other programs, and right now that means we can see some buttons we never use, while others we do use are pushed into overflow.

Thank you for making such an excellent program!

the opportunity for the user to customize the toolbar is in the TODO list but requires an amount of time that I don’t have in this period.
you can anyway edit yourself the file /usr/share/cherrytree/modules/cons.py searching for the pattern “name=’ToolBar’” and just moving the xml nodes up and down.
